The school that trains for adapted driving expects her to go for her test immediately following her lessons, so as to prevent any loss of spirit or skills from time off. The grants for the adaptation of the car require a newer car , as no one wants to invest in something that may fail soon. They want their investment in the car to last.
5/25/2018 · I am fundraising for a new car to be adapted for me to drive. My car at present is 14 years old and now the foot steering has broken and is unfixable . My car is my independence and freedom. I have applied for mobility and having no arms isnt disabled enough enough to get a mobility car .
Like everything in my situation, adapted vehicles are ridiculously expensive- around $80,000 brand new! However, I am looking into getting a second hand vehicles so that it is a little more affordable. This is where you come in, with your help I hope to raise some money so I can move forward and get my own car .
